All other things being equal, the Leo man might be drawn to different kinds of women for different reasons. His nature is that of the lion, so some women may be “prey” to him: conquests that he enjoys hunting down. Leo is an amorous sign and quite given to erotic adventures. He might “like” these prey women—but is that the sort of interchange you’re looking for?
If you’re thinking about longer-term mating, then you need to be the lioness to his lion.
