IMO: Rahu in 7th makes the person expect a lot from marriage/partnership. Rahu increases observation of partners action and depending on planet placement can make the person easily dissatisfied/disappointed by partner.

By dating more people – gives a reality check and person finally realizes everything is not perfect and they should choose who they think is suitable.

Additional thoughts: my observation is that rahu 7th in male chart gives dissatisfaction in relationship leading to male native searching for more partners (possibly as male natural 7th House karak is venus – hence rahu venus combination results)

But in female native, rahu 7th House tends to make them avoid marriage (as female 7th karak is Mars, which signifies independence or highly idealistic illusion of marriage in which makes them reject potential partners). Hence rahu would exaggerate the independence priority of females natives.

Suggestion for female natives: in relationship, don’t do all the work by yourself – purposefully leave/delegate some work to a partner so that you slowly subconsciously feel their need in life and rahu 7th should accordingly give a great partnership.
