Here are my obervations of Sun in the 10th tenth house:
~The native has a balanced ego and confidence as sun in the 10th house is strong but the house still has the energy of Capricorn which keeps the ego from getting too high.
~Their career is really physically or intellectualy demanding. The native usually guides people and could be in a leadership spot. If doing a job, the native gets promoted rapidly.
~Father could be working for the government.
~It is one of the indications that the person, usually understands his/her purpose for life or what he has to do (career wise) very early on in their life. They have a sense of clarity as Sun, here, gains dig bal.
~The native doesn’t have to face power struggle in career (unless, other factors get involved) , but, Sun should be in a good sign.
~The native gets favours from government and father.
~The native might get involved in ego battles with the mother.
~Sun’s presence in the 10th house will help in attaining assets.
~Since, the 10th house is an upachya bhav, it is bound to give and ‘increase’ its results gradually. Sun here, if the native starts a business, will give troubles and will make him put efforts, as Sun, after all, is a cruel planet.
~The native can be somehow, connected with the entertainment industry.
~If unafflicted, the native is respected by the society.

These are the results of only, and only, Sun in the 10th house. But still, we have to see the sign, and most importantly the Dasha sequence the native is born with.
