But based on the discussion with some elder, experienced astrologer, I will try my best to explain Pitru Dosha!
Pitru Dosha or Pitra Dosh is caused by multiple combinations in a person’s horoscope. Major reason is said to be Sun – Saturn connection. Either exchanges of houses by these two planets, one aspecting another, both aspecting each other, both conjunct in same house can cause Pitru Dosha. Similar relation between Jupiter and Mercury can also cause Pitru Dosha, but at with lesser effects.
Curses of forefathers is said to cause Pitra Dosha according to erudite & experienced gurus, but reality is that, one faces this only because of his/her past life deeds. • Perform Kanya Daan ritual – You should take responsibility for the marriage of a girl preferably of a poor family to obtain the grace of God and ancestors.

I will not explain here how retrogression happens..! Because it is well known fact that planet is not moving backward but it is illusion from earth that particular planet is moving backward which is called retrogression.
Now whenever any planet goes into retrogression, please note as mentioned below;
(1) Planet is very near to earth
(2) Planet is very slow or stationary
(3) Planet is breaking the laws of solar system (illusion)
(4) Planet is moving backward
(5) Planet stays in one sign, nakshatra for longer than usual
Now suppose you have retrograde planet(s) in your natal chart, then it is very important to understand its role & signification in our chart.
Now check as follow;
(1) Find out whether you planet is stationary or moving
(2) How many degrees it has traveled backside after retrogression onset?
(3) How many degrees it has to travel to achieve its direct motion again?
(4) If it is stationary then know whether the planet is stationary in the beginning or end of retrogression!
(5) Check whether the retrograde planet is within 0–5 degrees of the sign or not
(6) Check whether the retrograde planet is within 25–30 degrees of the sign or not
(7) Check whether retrograde planet is functional benefic or malefic!
(8) Check which houses are ruled by retrograde planet!
Now please find below the interpretations based on above mentioned different conditions;
(1) Planet is stationary or moving!! – If your retrograde planet is stationary (in beginning) in your natal chart then there will be very delay in the fructification of the activities dominated by that planet. Because this is the initiation of the retrogression, & planet has to travel longer in the retrogression to achieve direct motion
(2) & (3) How many degrees traveled by retrograde planet: suppose your retrograde planet traveled near about 15 degrees backside after onset of retrogression..! Means planet has endured the retrogression already and happy time is near… so this planet will endow immense results – This planet would be travelling very slow & it is not stationary too which is also very near to our planet earth so this planet will give abundant more than laws set of planetary system because
