Sun Suryadev is the central power source. So we invoke that greatness, and ask to be activated and energised through this mantra. Why we need to do that? Short answer – Because first soul has to be awake in order to find the true purpose of one’s life.

I’m not a expert but Sage Vishwamitra did prostration for several thousand years to find single source of eternal divine and happiness. Vibrations produced by this mantra is the similar to vibration of soul energy, sun energy or the energy of divine enlightenment. “AUM” itself is vibration/sound of sun but the whole mantra may be the reason for the origination.
