Is astrology connected to Vastu Shastra?
The friendship between Vastu Shastra and Astrology is very wide and strong. Both are complementary to each other. Astrology is a Vedanga, then Vastu is Upveda. That is, Vastu is a crucial portion of Vedic astrology. Just as everything can be told about a man based on his horoscope (which is the foundation of a person), just like looking at the structure and internal arrangement of his home (which arrives under Vastu), exists in it. It can assess the whole family status. Vaastu Shastra is a sculpture of standing in harmony with essence and benefiting from the power that permeated in it.
Astrology is science-based on horoscopes. The Lagna in the horoscope is considered to be the east direction, East lord is the planet Sun. The seventh house instructs the west way, whose owner planet is Saturn. Similarly, the fourth and the tenth house of the horoscope indicate the north and south direction respectively, whose lord planets are Mercury and Mars respectively. In expansion to the planets owners of these directions, the gods of the four paths – east, west, north and south are Indra, Varuna, Kubera and Yama (Kaal).
there are Ishaan kone (north-east direction), Vyavya kone (north-west), Narnayya kone (south-west) and Agnayya kone (south-east), which are 2 and 3, 5 of the kundali. And 6, 8 and 9 and 11 and 12 are associated with Bhava, their lord planets and deities are Guru and Shiva, Chandra and Pawan (Vayu) Dev, Rahu-Ketu and Rannatya and Venus and Agnidev respectively.
Vyavya (north-west) and Agency (south-east), which are on cross diagonal, are wind angle and fire angle respectively. The centre of the horoscope, which is called the place of fire or Brahma, is associated with its god ‘Brahma’ and the element ‘sky’. The rest of the four elements – water, air, earth (land) and fire, are connected to the ishan, vayva, naitra and aagneya angles respectively.
Vastu gives positive thinking to man. Vastu and astrology are governed by the power of the planets and their influence, astrology is based on the Navagraha, the 12 zodiac signs and the 27 nakshatras and all these zodiac signs are affected by some component of the five components. These zodiac signs are also associated with directions. In which path does the situation of the planets in the horoscope imply someone to be? Vastu Shastra remembers the favourable and inauspicious results of high and low soil in different paths.
