“If Natal Chart is a Mango-Tree, Navamsa chart is the Mango of the same tree.”
Navamsa is the 9th division of Kundali and is one of the most significant Varga charts to be studied along with the natal chart. In the Vimshopak Bala provided by Parashara, it is provided 3 points after D60 and the natal chart. D60 is bestowed the highest weight-age of 4 points bigger than the natal chart which has 3.5 points.
Certainly, D60 is the vastly significant chart but since it alters every two moments the exactness of its Lagna is uncertain as in maximum of the charts, the timing is off by rare moments.
The Birth Chart shifts every two hours and so many kids are born in a similar state during those two hours, each having similar Lagna. Their destinies will change according to the paatra but not all will have a related future. That is where d9 and other Varga charts come into the picture.
Navamsa Chart has to browse in pursuing ways:
1. To test the stability of a planet: The most crucial use of the navamsa chart is to test if the planet is really powerful. If a planet is exalted in the main chart and debilitated in the d9 then the planet’s innate stability is not there. The planet will only lend nice results in the first half of its dasha and will give bad outcomes in his next half and vice versa. This is the justification why we should also test the planet’s importance and strength in d9 before examining a chart.
2. Examine it independently: Some astrologers read it as a reflector chart to the main chart and substantiate the circumstances. If D1 and D9 indicate the similar event for eg: In a learners chart, in D1 5th lord has a relationship with 12th house/lord and the Dasha exists also riding then the schooling can be outside the residence city(one of the numerous things). If the same mixture of the D9 lords narrates again it is a truth.
3. Wedding Chart: This illustration is read alone to know all the traits of husband or wife and to time the wedding of a person as well.
4. RasiTulya Navamsa: It is the awesome imposition of d9 chart over Rashi chart, i.e. keep the Rashi chart d1 as it is and position the planets in the horoscope as per their importance in the Rashi chart.
