exalted or debilitated or mooltrikon sun will cause excessive bad results??
Exalted or mooltrikona will do Ok but Sun in debilitation can cause issues if there is no neechbhanga. Mercury also not do so well in 12th house.

No planet is welcomed in the 12th house excepting Venus.
Venus is the only planet who can work even in the darkness.
