Moon is the karaka for elopement because Moon eloped with Jupiter’s wife, Tara.
Moon has to be involved along with 9th/L or Jupiter/Venus. If Rahu is involved, shaadi nahi karenge…just live in.
Sir, in my personal opinion Moon has two sides one is Rahu and another is Ketu. Rahu is involved in cheating and ketu is very honest. Kindly feel what I’m trying to say to you and meditate on it and tell me if you feel the same. Because I’ve seen many cases where moon is in 1-7axis and connected with 8 th or 12th house but no cheating is involved.
You could be absolutely right Sourav Ji. I haven’t personally tested this theory on multiple charts but Moon is generally considered for elopement in both Vedic & Bhrigu Nandi Naadi.

5th lord in 8th house or 8th lord in 5th house and connection with Venus or the 7th lord ,with these combinations Venus should also be afflicted by Rahu or exalted. In such cases elopement is predicted.
I hv observed that if moon is aspected or conjunct or in rahu nakshatra any of these situations will trigger the thought of eloping however the dashas and the 7th house placement will define if the action will happen or not…also some cases consider 3rd house for calculating if the native will do it or loose the chance to elope…but rahu connected to moon will surely affect specially in 5th house…jai mahadev maa gauri
9th Rahu, they can escape even marriage in few hours.
