  1. bhav chalit chart is mostly to get clarity in cuspel positions or degrees of planets…if planet is falling in cuspel degree then bhav chalit chart is used to identify if the results will manifest in both houses or just the house in which the planet is actually placed…like true placement and mean value placement calculation of planetary positions…jai mahadev maa gauri

  2. Consider a chart with ascendant at 4 degrees of Aries and Saturn is at 28 degrees Leo in 5th house. This is a Rasi chart.

In Bhava chalit chart, Saturn moves to sixth house. This is because of the following
    1) Each house is about 30 degrees
    2) Now if Aries 4 degrees to Leo 4 degrees will make 5 x 30 =150 degrees.
    3) Saturn is practically away from the above and so falls in next house.

Now, Saturn is considered to be placed in Leo but in 6th house. Because in Bhava chart – there are no Signs (Aries / Taurus etc) but houses only. Sign significations come to the planet from Rasi it is placed in.

Settings: To consider Bhav chart from lagna. Houses: Mostly Equal house system and for special circumstances some experts use Sripathi System.
