Chapter 17 Verse 26 states: Loss of wealth will come to pass during the 31st year if 11th lord and 6th lord exchange their rasis.

      Respected Sir,

      I have doubts regarding this translation from sanskrit to english. Rishi has explicitly used rashi and bhava word where ever was the intent in entire bphs. Even in verse 28 specific exchange or rashis has been mentioned in sanskrit. but in verse 26 rishi says labheshe ripu BHAVASTHE ..means 11th lord be in 6th bhava/house .. but says Rogeshe labha RASHIGE.. which can mean 6th lord be in aquarius as that is what he has meant by rashi in whole text. The entire dictum can take a different term with this context.

      I searched for keyword exchange in whole pdf and concurrently read sanskrit verses to see if Rishi has used these two as either or.. But we dont expect this from a sage i think. he would be very specific.

      Let’s take an example..

      Cancer Asc – It will be jupiter venus exchange. By rules of exchange both brahmin planets wealth givers exchanging signs would be 6-11 are well fortified in own houses. How loss will incur atleast via these two planets i am still to decipher. I am compelled to forcefit rather than the theory coming naturally to me.

      But if we take translation as labheshe ripu BHAVASTHE.. in example of cancer asc. It would be Venus in 6th house Saggitarus but Jupiter in Aquarius (labha RASHIGE) .. Here comes direct involvement of Rahu/Saturn for loss of wealth.

      Regarding 31st year. BCP 7th house gets active for 12 months and loss gets activated via 12th from any house, hence 6th and its circuit as per example above..

      Now Sir kindly see verse 27 rishi is not saying rashi again for exchange.. now he is saying bhavas only. So he is clear its houses.

      But in verse 28 again he comes back to rashis specifically.

      kindly excuse any shortcomings and guide for betterment.

      I am not taking the authors translation into contention. What i have focused is sanskrit shlokas. So if i breakdown again here step by step the shloka says:

      1. Labheshe ripuBHAVASthe – 11th lord be in ripu i.e. 6th BHAVA .. not rashi. Now here 11th lord can be any of 12 signs because asc can be different.

      2. Rogeshe LabhaRASHIGE – rogeshe is 6th lord here means any of 12 signs depending on ascendant. Its not virgo. But RASHI comes into picture only when rishi says labha RASHIGE.. so the 6tth lord be in AQUARIUS. Its only now that rashi comes in picture.

      So there is no space for exchange here as far as verse is concerned. It is infact circuit that comes into picture. Mention of Rashi is only for aquarius rest are bhavas and bhava lords in the verse.

      Jyotika ji, 8th from 2nd is 9th house and 2nd lord gets a natural debilitation in 6th house.

      31st Year will activate the 8th house where Rahu/Saturn/mars are the karka for that house. 11th lord in 6th and 6th lord in 11th. Rahu and Saturn is also lord of the 11th house and hence it empowers the enemies and losses happen. Loss can be because of something false or some old person or neigbors too.

      6th and 11th are in 6/8 to each other.  11th happens to be the Bhavat bhavam of the 6th house but here we have to look at exchange which means it is the exchange of lords which are 6/8 to each other.

      8th from any house will sudden events and can also means loss of gains.

      the next part will be why 31st year. from what Sir shared, this comes to be 9th house active during the year. Natual lord of the house Jupiter which is Dhan Karaka and this sits 6th to the 2nd house which is Venus house. So an event related to finances. most likely theft or cheating.

      Again, why 31 and not other ages. This definitely has to do with ages of planets. Second is Venus is debilitated in 6th house. So money related matters and events related to that.

      6 th lord in 11 th house- gain of enemies

      11 th lord in 6 th – money is going to enemies .

      so naturally not a good exchange …..

      but 31 st year is little bit strange…..

      31 year is jupiter and sun ….

      I have an alternative theory for activating the 31st year but it’s most likely wrong…

      Mercury activates from the 28th year to the 32nd year. Mercury is also the lord of the 6H. If we start counting 1 rasi for each year starting with the 6H, the 31st year of the native will fall on the 12H. In the 12H, Mercury is debilitated and the 12H is also the house of loss for the native. In addition, 11H is the 12th from the 12H so loss of loss = gain but to the enemy since the planets have exchanged rasis. So when the 12H is activated due to all these factors, loss is experienced by the native.

      Would appreciate any feedback, corrections or debunking this theory altogether ?
