The yog has to be there in D1 to be able to get the fruits in D9. As Sir says – if the tree is missing, it cannot have the fruit.
If rajayoga you are.looking at conjunction etc of Kendra Kona planets – yes, but consider the planet’s lordship in D1 and see them in D-9.
If they are forming yogas it’s better than merely seeing planets and lordships from d9 itself.
yes, all the yogas should be repeated in d9
D-1, D-9, ise kahi aur chart me bhi same yog banne chahiye, sirf navamsh ek hi me nahi.
